He is such a sweet little guy…when he is sleeping that is.
Meet Toulouse, officially. I call this his Kitty Face because he actually is a good kitty here. He isn’t the terrorizing alter ego that destroys our house and keeps the dog living in fear.
In a few short hours, when I am cuddled away and sleeping soundly, he will attack my head like it is his job.
So for now, I like to enjoy these quiet, cute moments where he actually pretends he loves me and is a good boy.

Lately I’ve noticed some friends that have been down and out. Between boys, school, and work, it’s definitely time for a girls night out. As a prelude of a great night, here are some favs that I think might cheer these friends up and help them get through some difficult times.
Beauty around us…
Sometimes it’s hard to remember the good in our lives when we are caught up in the not-so-good. This quote from Anne Frank reminds me that there is still so much around me that I should be grateful and happy for.
….Such as Ryan Gosling
This put a smile on my face.
A needed laugh
Every girl needs to hear this at times.
This would help after(I really mean during) a hard days work.
Who needs water?
Oh and this,
The Seductive Swan
1.5 oz Russian Standard Vodka
3 oz Lemonade
Muddle four blackberries in bottom of a tumbler. Add ice, Russian Standard Vodka and lemonade. Garnish with remaining blackberry.
Reasons to dress up every day(not that I need one)
” If you show up looking a bit more glam than the rest, what’s the worst-case scenario? You look the best in the room?”
Not that it’s terrible to have high expectations of yourself and others around you, but I find myself expecting too much, worrying I won’t achieve the expectations, then beating myself up if I don’t. I’ve learned to take a step back sometimes and just let myself breath for a minute or two…or 10.
What makes you happy?
“When you’re struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it’s just as hard as what you’re going through.”
I am way behind the times when it comes to blogs. It’s 2011 going on 2012 soon, and I am just getting one? Where have I been?!
My amateur blogging skills will document my day to day discoveries of laughs, fashion, news stories, and local happenings around South-Eastern Wisconsin. Hope you like it mom 😉
To start my blog off, I like to cure my case of the Mondays with some internet funnies. I compiled a small prescription to help all you sick ones out there that have come down with what seems to be the worst day of the week sometimes.
1 Dose of a laugh: Ellen Scare Montage
1 Dose of an IKEA moment: A-mazing desk idea.
1 Dose of a cute kitty:
Well that’s all I have for today. Hope this prescription cured your case of the Mondays!
